The PHP developers have announced a security update for today, October 21, 2026, that addresses two critical vulnerabilities in PHP. We will install the updated PHP versions on our Plesk web hosting as soon as they are available.

During the update, the PHP services will be briefly restarted. This may cause brief, second-long interruptions when accessing websites. Email and databases are not affected.

The developers no longer provide security updates for PHP versions 7.4 and 8.1. We will notify affected customers separately via email about the necessary upgrade to a current PHP version.

We will update this announcement as soon as the work is complete.

  The security updates for PHP and the operating system update for our Plesk web hosting have been successfully completed. All supported PHP versions (8.2, 8.3, 8.4) are now up to date. Services are running normally again.
